I, too, gave the revamped Dominos a whirl. Ryan pretty much hit it square on the head - obligatory garlic butter with Italian spices on each pie's crust is the only really noticable difference. That includes the Hawaiian pizza I bought (Hawaiian is one of my go-to's when I order from a plebian pizzeria such as Dominos, since canned pineapple and deli ham are essentially status quo to my taste buds). I certainly can't endorse that combo of flavors (garlic & pineapple, et al). On other, more run-of-the-mill pies, I could see this being an okay way for them to stand out a little bit, as well as getting their customers thinking critically about where they spend their pizza dollars.

On a side note, I will say that I haven't given the Oak Park (Illinois) Dominos a test with this new recipe. They were historically one of the worst Dominos I had eaten before, and I'm curious to see if they've assimilated to the new world Dominos order.

I've tried it. As far as I can tell its just an over-seasoned crust. If the sauce was different I couldn't tell. Kelly liked the new crust. I will never eat it again. Avoid the crust, bring back the Noid.
